With paint, I often feel like I can express what words cannot. So when I look at a work of art, I want to see my deepest and most heartfelt emotion laid bare. Every brush stroke becomes a whole new vocabulary for me to explore and share.
The contrast in textures and colours helps me find that familiar ground and a sense of understanding of what I am trying to portray.
I have a fascination for the nature of surfaces and mediums and the endless possibilities their interactions can reveal. This means I often use mixed media and I love exploring new mediums and techniques
